Five-star Class of 2017 guard Gary Trent Jr. has been one of the most sought-after recruits in the country the past three years and now he’s starting to get closer to making his college decision.
The 6-foot-4 guard and native of Minnesota told reporters at the USA Basketball mini-camp in Colorado Springs this weekend that he is still considering Duke, Michigan State and UCLA as he continues his process of taking official visits.
Currently considered the No. 13 overall prospect in Rivals national Class of 2017 rankings, Trent is a dynamic scorer and one of the toughest and most physical perimeter players in the country. The son of former Ohio star Gary Trent, Trent Jr. should be one of the most college-ready freshmen in the country when he sets foot on campus next fall.
