San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich took aim at United States president Donald Trump, this time criticising his immigration ban.
Popovich has been outspoken on his disdain for Trump and the NBA championship-winning coach reacted strongly to the president's latest executive order that bans immigrants from seven countries from entering USA.
On Sunday, Popovich went as far as to liken the situation to 'Keystone Kops', a reference to incompetent police officers often featured in silent films during the 1920s.
"As you already know, I have lots of thoughts about what we've done to ourselves as a country and what we've allowed to happen," Popovich told reporters.
"But we'll see where this goes. Obviously the roll-out [Sunday] was Keystone Kops-like by any measure with objectivity.
"Whether you want to say it's good or bad is irrelevant. But it was Keystone Kops, and that's scary."
Popovich has previously criticized Trump's political rhetoric as "xenophobic, homophobic, racist, misogynistic" and went on a lengthy rant after the 0-year-old was elected, saying he was "sick to his stomach."
The executive order was signed on Friday, and bans immigrants from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen from entering the country.
As of Saturday, a federal judge issued an emergency ruling to stop parts of the order.
