Sheldon Richardson calls out Brandon Marshall after another awful Jets loss

The New York Jets have looked disinterested in football for a few weeks, and now they’re pointing fingers at each other.
After a brutal 41-3 loss to the New England Patriots, defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson called out receiver Brandon Marshall but refused to get specific.

“He should be embarrassed,” Richardson said, according to the New York Daily News.
After being pressed on why Marshall should be embarrassed, Richardson said, “There’s no reason.” Then he went on.
“He knows what he did,” Richardson said, according to the Daily News. “It’s cool, bro. … It’s irrelevant. Scratch that comment.”
Richardson was criticized for a viral Snapchat video this week, and Marshall was also critical of him. Perhaps that led to the ill will from Richardson. The Daily News caught up with Marshall after Richardson’s comments.
“I know one of the things that he’s always said to me is he wants me to make more plays,” Marshall said. “So that’s the only thing I can think of.”
Marshall, who has never made the playoffs in 11 NFL seasons, had two catches for 28 yards on Saturday.
The Jets are 4-10 and have lost games by 31, 21 and 38 points over the past four weeks. They’re terrible on the field, and now the locker room seems to be falling apart too.
