Shaquille O’Neal is one of the greatest centers in NBA history, and was part of three NBA titles with the Los Angeles Lakers from 2000 to 2002. Now, Shaq is getting his own statue outside the Staples Center to commemorate his time in LA.
According to multiple media outlets, O’Neal’s statue will be revealed on March 24, 2017 at Staples.
He will join the ranks of former Lakers Magic Johnson, Chick Hearn, Jerry West, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar when the cast is revealed.
A photo from ESPN’s Baxter Holmes appears to be a rendering of Shaq’s future bust:

So O’Neal will be forever memorialized doing that weird dunk where he spreads his legs really far apart mostly to annoy Chris Dudley.
