Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh attends an Obama rally for Hillary Clinton

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh attended President Barack Obama’s campaign rally for Hillary Clinton on Monday at Ray Fisher Stadium, the school’s baseball stadium.
Harbaugh, who stood next to UM Athletic Director Warde Manuel and U.S. Rep. Sander Levin, received cheers from the crowd and was acknowledged by Obama at the beginning of the speech.
“I know you guys are feeling pretty good right now. … 9-0. That’s impressive,” he said, turning to look at Harbaugh.
“… He’s focused. I need you to stay focused. Because I need you to pull off another victory this week.”

Harbaugh hasn’t publicly spoken about his political affiliation, but he seems to have a good relationship with Obama and his wife. Last October, Harbaugh met the President and First Lady at the White House for a meeting regarding a student achievement initiative.
Harbaugh also attended Obama’s final State of the Union address as a guest of U.S. Rep. Debbie Dingell, a Democrat who represents Ann Arbor.
According to the Detroit News, Harbaugh’s wife appeared in a television ad for University of Michigan Board of Regents candidate Ronald Weiser, who is a major university donor and a Republican Donald Trump fundraiser.
Following the speech, Harbaugh, signed autographs and took pictures with fans.
