The Sacramento Kings are acquiring the No. 22 overall pick in Thursday’s NBA draft from the Charlotte Hornets for guard Marco Belinelli, league sources told The Vertical.
The deal can't go through until after July 1, so the Hornets’ selection at No. 22 will be for the Kings, sources said.
Belinelli, 30, averaged 10.2 points in 68 games for the Kings this past season. He has two years and $12.6 million left on his deal.
Belinelli has played nine seasons, including stints with Golden State, Toronto, New Orleans, Chicago and San Antonio.
