Kilpatrick, 26, agreed to a two-year deal with the Nets, sources told The Vertical.
The deal will include a guarantee for the 2016-17 season, sources said.
An undrafted All-American out of the University of Cincinnati in 2014, Kilpatrick had moved through the NBA Development League, NBA training camps and 10-day deals with Denver and Minnesota until solidifying himself with the Nets this month.
Since signing with the Nets on Feb. 28, Kilpatrick is averaging nearly 12 points and 19 minutes in eight games.
