A year ago, Richie Incognito looked to be persona non grata in the NFL.
After a few years of workouts and team visits not leading to a job in the league following his being cut by the Miami Dolphins amid the bullying scandal with Jonathan Martin, it appeared that Incognito might be unofficially blackballed by the NFL.
Until the Buffalo Bills came in last year with a lifeline and a one-year deal. Now, following a strong 2015 season, Incognito has cashed in. He and the Bills came to an agreement on a three-year contract, as first reported by Buffalo News' Ty Dunne for a reported total of $15.75 million.
Incognito later announced his return on Twitter.

Richie Incognito
Who's ready for 3 more years of DOMINATION in Buffalo!!!!

The Bills clearly wanted him back after Incognito behaved and played very well last season, leading the way for the No. 1-ranked rushing attack in the league. That allowed the team to feel comfortable to re-sign him to a very respectable deal, and after some salary-cap massaging — and sweating it out a bit, with other teams expected to bid on him suddenly — the Bills got it done before Incognito hit the market.
What a league., Everyone loves the comeback story. Incognito's pas indiscretions are a thing of the past, apparently, And he's happy and well-compensated with the Bills.
