Guess what T.J. Oshie did over the weeekend

We interrupt the Capitals’ contract negotiations with forward Marcus Johansson to provide a romantic update on Olympic sensation and newest Capitals right wing T.J. Oshie.
On Saturday in Minnesota, Oshie married his longtime sweetheart, Lauren Cosgrove, in a star-studded ceremony attended by several former St. Louis Blues teammates, including captain David Backes.
Little Libby Lu has something else to cry about -- her favorite hockey player has pledged his love to someone else.
One of the highlights of the nuptials came when T.J. and Lauren’s daughter, 16-month-old Lyla, walked her daddy down the aisle.
According to a story in St. Louis Bride and Groom magazine, the new Mrs. Oshie wore a wedding gown that was “elegant and timeless.” She had two maids of honor, her younger sister and best friend.
T.J. Oshie wore a black “Jackson” slim-fit tuxedo and chose his younger brother Taylor, as his best man.
After the big night, Oshie tweeted that he is the “luckiest guy in the world.”
The wedding wrapped up an incredibly busy month for the 28-year-old native of Mount Vernon, Wash.
After being traded to the Capitals on July 2 in exchange for right wing Troy Brouwer, goaltending prospect Pheonix Copley and a third-round draft pick, Oshie met the Capitals coaching staff and signed autographs at Kettler Capitals Iceplex on July 11, found a new place to stay the same weekend, sent a care package to Libby Lu filled with Capitals merchandise, participated in a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe the following weekend, and moved into a new house in Minnesota days before tying the knot.
Lauren said she was leaving the honeymoon plans up to her new husband.
