1957 - Frick overrules & names Stan Musial, Willie Mays, & Hank Aaron to team.
1958 - Brazil becomes world soccer champ in Sweden.
1960 - John Elway, Port Angeles Washignton, NFL quarterback
(Denver Broncos-Super Bowl 32/33) is born.
1962 - Mickey Cochrane, Baseball Hall of Fame catcher, dies at 59.
