The Philadelphia Phillies have undergone quite a few changes since 2011, but that doesn't mean they've escaped the wrath of the squirrel.
When Philadelphia was thwarted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2011 NLDS, the series turned when a squirrel scampered onto the field at Busch Stadium. The "Rally Squirrel" became the Cardinals' unofficial postseason mascot as they went on to win the World Series.
The squirrels clearly aren't done with the Phillies though. Now they're coming after them at their own stadium.
The Phillies hosted the Cardinals at Citizens Bank Park on Friday night when a squirrel climbed across the netting behind home plate and dropped into the Phillies dugout, sending players running in fear. Bold move.
