Chargers linebacker Te'o returns to practice

Chargers inside linebacker Manti Te'o has returned to practice after missing six games with a broken right foot.
Wednesday's practice was his first since he was hurt in a victory at Buffalo on Sept. 21.
Also practicing was outside linebacker Melvin Ingram, who has been on the injured reserve/designated for return list since Sept. 20 with a hip injury. The Chargers have three weeks to add him to the active roster.
Running back Ryan Mathews, out since spraining his right knee in a victory against Seattle on Sept. 14, is expected to play in Sunday's home game against Oakland. He returned to practice during the Chargers' bye week.
San Diego (5-4) has lost three straight games. Oakland (0-9) is the NFL's only winless team.
