NASCAR, SiriusXM Radio extend broadcast agreement through 2022 season

NASCAR fans that subscribe to SiriusXM Radio will be able to continue listening to every NASCAR Cup, Xfinity and Camping World Truck Series races for a long time to come.
The sanctioning body and satellite radio network announced Wednesday an extension of the current contract that calls for the airing of every national series event through the 2022 season.
The races will continue to be aired on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90, which offers NASCAR programming 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. SiriusXM Radio has more than 31 million subscribers.
2017 marks the 16th season that NASCAR races have aired on satellite radio.
“We have more than a successful decade of partnership already under our belts with SiriusXM and look forward to continuing our relationship over the next six years,” Steve Herbst, senior vice president, broadcasting and production at NASCAR, said in a media release.
