Andrew Luck out 2-6 weeks with abdominal injuries

The Indianapolis Colts, already reeling with injury and performing below expectations, received more terrible injury news on Tuesday: quarterback Andrew Luck suffered an abdominal injury in the team's victory against the Denver Broncos. Luck is expected to miss two to six weeks.
Colts head coach Chuck Pagano announced the injury on Tuesday afternoon, saying Luck suffered a lacerated kidney and a partially torn abdominal muscle on a fourth-quarter scramble. This is in addition to the report from earlier this season that Luck had been playing with multiple fractured ribs.
The Colts are in a bye week this week, then face the Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Pittsburgh Steelers before closing out the year with three of four games against AFC South rivals. The Colts, at 4-5, sit only a half-game ahead of the Texans and, amazingly enough, only two games ahead of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans.
A prolonged absence of Luck could open the door for another team to win what has long been the most slam-dunk division championship in the NFL.
