Brandon Saad 'crushed' by trade to Columbus

Former Blackhawks forward Brandon Saad is reportedly “crushed” at having been traded Tuesday to Columbus as part of a seven-player trade.
According to 670 The Score’s Jay Zawaski, Saad wasn’t expecting to be traded.
Saad had hoped to stay with the Blackhawks after helping the team win its third Stanley Cup since 2010.
Two days after winning the title, Saad suggested he’d be willing to take less money to stay in Chicago.
“The money’s going to come and go,” he said. “But to win championships and play on a great team, that’s what it’s all about.”
The Blackhawks received 27-year-old center Artem Anisimov, 20-year-old winger Marko Dano, former Hawks winger Jeremy Morin, and 25-year-old winger Corey Tropp in exchange for Saad and two prospects.
