Erin Andrews re-signs with Fox Sports but will no longer cover MLB

Fox Sports and Erin Andrews have agreed to a new deal, but there’s a change-up, per Sports Illustrated’s Richard Deitsch.
Andrews will primarily focus on her role as lead sideline reporter for the NFL on Fox and will no longer be a part of Fox’s MLB coverage. Andrews started covering the MLB intermittently starting in 2012 and started covering the NFL after she replaced Pam Oliver in 2014.
“We are thrilled that Erin will continue as our lead sideline reporter on the NFL on FOX’s ‘A-Team’ including our upcoming coverage of Super Bowl LI,” John Entz, the network’s president of production told Sports Illustrated. “We appreciate Erin’s great contributions to our MLB coverage. With her commitments beyond Fox Sports, we fully support Erin’s decision to focus her role here at FOX on the NFL.”
Andrews’s ESPN contract ran out in July 2012 and she moved over to Fox Sports shortly after. Since she started working for Fox Sports, she hosted “Fox College Saturday” and has been a field reporter for various events including the Daytona 500 and the World Series.
