Free-agent forward Carlos Boozer met with the Milwaukee Bucks’ front office this week about a potential deal, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Boozer had a positive meeting with Bucks coach Jason Kidd and general manager John Hammond in Los Angeles, sources said. Milwaukee suffered consecutive double-digit losses to the Lakers and Clippers this week.
Bucks center Greg Monroe remains sidelined because of a sprained MCL in his right knee, and the team has lacked reserve frontcourt contributions aside from John Henson.
In 13 NBA seasons, Boozer, 34, has averaged 16.2 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. A two-time NBA All-Star, Boozer has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers.
Boozer averaged 11.8 points and 6.8 rebounds while shooting 49.9 percent from the field in 71 games for the Lakers last season. He went unsigned as a free agent in the offseason.
