Baylor WR Corey Coleman heading to NFL

Baylor wide receiver Corey Coleman revealed after his team's regular season-ending loss to Texas that he would be heading to the NFL.
Coleman, a junior, participated in senior day activities at McLane Stadium on Saturday. Baylor coach Art Briles confirmed after the game that Saturday was Coleman's last home game at Baylor.

Corey Coleman tells the media he will declare for the NFL draft. Bowl game will be his last.
The receiver has 74 catches for 1,363 yards and 20 touchdowns. His statistics, perhaps not-so coincidentally, dropped off after Baylor quarterback Seth Russell was lost for the season with a fractured vertebra in his neck. Soon after Russell's injury, Jarrett Stidham, the man who replaced Ru
ssell, was out for the season because of an ankle injury.
Saturday, Baylor's third-string quarterback Chris Johnson limped off the field. He was replaced by two converted wide receivers and Baylor stuck to a ground-based attack for the rest of the 23-17 loss.
Coleman hadn't broken the 100-yard mark in Baylor's final four games. His last triple-digit game came against Kansas State when he had 11 catches for 216 yards and two scores. He had 185 yards over Baylor's final four games; he had more than that total in two single games in 2015.
He's a likely early pick in the NFL draft. Coleman was a four-star prospect in the class of 2013 according to Rivals and the No. 38 wide receiver in the country.
