The receiver has 74 catches for 1,363 yards and 20 touchdowns. His statistics, perhaps not-so coincidentally, dropped off after Baylor quarterback Seth Russell was lost for the season with a fractured vertebra in his neck. Soon after Russell's injury, Jarrett Stidham, the man who replaced Ru
ssell, was out for the season because of an ankle injury.
Saturday, Baylor's third-string quarterback Chris Johnson limped off the field. He was replaced by two converted wide receivers and Baylor stuck to a ground-based attack for the rest of the 23-17 loss.
Coleman hadn't broken the 100-yard mark in Baylor's final four games. His last triple-digit game came against Kansas State when he had 11 catches for 216 yards and two scores. He had 185 yards over Baylor's final four games; he had more than that total in two single games in 2015.
He's a likely early pick in the NFL draft. Coleman was a four-star prospect in the class of 2013 according to Rivals and the No. 38 wide receiver in the country.
