Winning a World Series usually means you celebrate with the champagne. But the Chicago Cubs breaking their 108-year World Series drought apparently calls for something a little more potent.
Jim Beam announced Friday that it’s releasing a special batch of bourbon in honor of the Cubs. In fact, it’s a special batch that matured the day the Cubs won the World Series last November.
Here are the details on the “Game 7 batch”:
The hand-selected batch features bourbon that was barrel matured on the exact day the Cubs made history last year, delivering an oak vanilla aroma and a sweet finish that mirrors the ending of the historic season. To help celebrate the release of the exclusive batch, the brand will be celebrating its release at the Cubs game this weekend.
The “Game 7 Batch” has a suggested retail price of $17.99 for 750mL, and will be available for purchase while supplies last in the Chicagoland area starting June 1.
Anybody know if Cubs fans like to drink?
