Suspended WR Josh Gordon reportedly failed another drug test

It seemed like something was amiss when Josh Gordon hadn't yet been reinstated from his year-long suspension. As it turns out, the Cleveland Browns receiver failed another drug test last month, according to Fox Sports' Mike Garafolo.
The cause for the positive test was a diluted sample, Garafolo reported. The report also said that each sample Gordon gave tested positive for marijuana but not to the level that triggers a positive test result. However, a diluted sample is considered a positive test.
The Fox Sports report said that it doesn't mean Gordon will be suspended again. But after applying for reinstatement in February, this has clouded the issue as NFL commissioner Roger Goodell considers Gordon's case.
Gordon has had drug issues since college. He tested positive for alcohol and because he was a multiple offender in the NFL's drug policy, that was considered a violation and he was suspended for the 2015 season. On Monday it was reported Gordon is living with Johnny Manziel, who was cut by the Browns after his own off-field issues.
The Browns can't depend on Gordon at this point, which is unfortunate for both the player and the team. Cleveland could use a playmaker on offense, and Gordon has All-Pro ability. He had 1,646 yards in 2013, showing off his immense talent. He has played in just five games since then due to suspensions. Gordon should have been a NFL superstar by now, on a massive second contract like Dez Bryant and Demaryius Thomas got last season. But he can't stay out of trouble.
Now the NFL has to consider Gordon's latest reported slip up when figuring out if he can play again in 2016.
