Louisiana Tech player tweets picture to prove she's not pregnant
Ashley Santos heard the rumors, so she Tweeted out a picture to prove she's not the player made pregnant by disgraced coach Tyler Summitt.

It's come to this in the sad saga of disgraced former Louisiana Tech women's basketball coach Tyler Summitt: One of the team's players tweeted out a picture of her flat stomach in a bid to dispel rumors she is pregnant.
Summitt, of course, resigned from his job at Louisiana Tech on Thursday, citing an "inappropriate relationship" with a player. Reports had surfaced a day earlier that he had impregnated one of his players. He is the son of legendary University of Tennessee coach Pat Summitt.
Louisiana Tech redshirt junior guard Ashley Santos heard rumors circulating that she had been the player in question, so she Tweeted out this picture Thursday to set the record straight.
USA Today reported Friday that all the team's players had been getting "bombarded" with phone calls and through social media asking about the situation. Speculation about the pregnant player focused on Santos and fellow Lady Techster Brooke Pumroy, who had transferred together from Marquette in 2014 when Summitt, their assistant coach, took the top job at Louisiana Tech.
Santos' father, Jose Santos, told USA Today that, “Ashley’s just an innocent bystander … People were asking if she was pregnant, so she defended herself. That’s all that it is."
