Jordan Spieth's Caddie Michael Greller Opens Up on Masters Loss

Jordan Spieth's Caddie Michael Greller Opens Up on Masters Loss
Jordan Spieth's caddie posted a heartfelt message of support for Spieth following the 22-year-old's excruciating collapse at the 2016 Masters.
Stephanie Wei published the Facebook post to her website with permission from Greller.
In it, the caddie tells the story of watching Spieth concede a putt to his match-play partner in a loss at the 2011 U.S. Amateur, an indication of Spieth's grace in the face of defeat.
He also mentions Spieth's humility and sportsmanship in his two major defeats from last season.
Greller adds that this loss is only going to make the two of them work harder in the future.
"We have received an outpouring of support and thoughtful messages. But don’t feel sorry or sad for us. We won’t get stuck in this moment, nor should you. We will work harder, fight harder and be better for it. We will bounce back as we have done many times."
To close, Greller insists neither the wins nor the losses have changed the two-time major winner's attitude.
"Jordan Spieth is the same genuine, grounded and humble person he was five years ago, in victory or defeat."
