NASCAR issued warnings to seven Sprint Cup and six Xfinity teams for inspection issues last weekend at Phoenix International Raceway.
For every fourth warning a team accumulates, it loses its pit stall pick.
In the Cup series:
Brad Keselowski‘s team received its second and third warnings. Keselowski’s team failed the Laser Inspection Station three times before the race and failed the template inspection station twice before the race. The team loses 15 minutes of practice this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Title contender Joey Logano‘s team received its first warning after failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before the race.
Chase Elliott‘s team received its second warning after failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before the race.
Reed Sorenson‘s team received its third warning after failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before the race.
Danica Patrick‘s team received its first warning after failing the template inspection station twice before qualifying.
Martin Truex Jr.‘s team received its second warning after failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before the race.
Michael McDowell‘s team received its second warning after failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before the race.
In the Xfinity Series:
Title contender Erik Jones‘ team received its second warning after failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before the race.
Ty Dillon‘s team received its second warning after failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before the race.
Kyle Busch‘s team received its second warning after failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before the race.
Brandon Jones‘ team received its second warning after failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before the race.
DJ Kennington‘s team received its first warning after failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before the race.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr.‘s team received its first warning after failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before the race.
