Here's the field for the 2016 MLB Home Run Derby

Todd Frazier is looking to repeat as Home Run Derby champ. Wil Myers is trying to triumph on his home turf. Robinson Cano, the 2011 champ, is trying to win again. And Giancarlo Stanton, the hulking Miami Marlins slugger, is trying to chase his destiny.
Those are four of the names announced Thursday as participants in the MLB Home Run Derby, the All-Star Game Eve tradition, happening Monday at Petco Park.
Here’s a full rundown of the eight-man field, along with their seedings, which are determined by homers thus far in 2016. So the list starts with Mark Trumbo, who leads MLB in homers with 26.

So much power: Presenting the 2016 bracket! 💪💪💪
Worth noting: Neither Frazier nor Stanton are on the All-Star teams this season, so they’re just coming to add some punch to the derby. Baseball did not let Madison Bumgarner or any other pitcher in, even though that was a hot topic of discussion for the past month.
If you missed it last year, the derby jumped to a bracket format, which created a lot more excitement than in years past, with buzzer-beating homers and lots of drama.
