After the Astros fell apart in the ALDS, you could hardly blame them for being in a foul mood as they left Kansas City on Wednesday night, which is what makes what Javier Brackamonte did for Royals fans all the more impressive. While the Royals were celebrating on the field a few feet away, Brackamonte, Houston's bullpen catcher, was giving away all of his baseball gear to opposing fans. And we mean all of it. His hat, batting gloves, chest protector, shin guards and every baseball he could find all went to lucky kids. If there's such a thing as karma, Brackamonte is building plenty of it up for another Astros run in 2016.
The Bills wanted Sammy Watkins to work on over-the-shoulder catches, but the drill they came up with doesn't seem very effective or useful in any way. It honestly seems like the goal of hte drill is to confuse Watkins and then share how ridiculous he looks with the social media world, and that goal was definitely accomplished.
Johnny Manziel isn't getting much of a shot to be the Cleveland Browns' quarterback this year, but if there is a silver lining, it's that he decided to brighten his days up with a new, impossibly adorable puppy. Meet Chubbs, the cure for any bad day Manziel may come across. Our only question is whether Chubbs has any brothers or sisters still looking for a home.
