The photo of the day, the week, the month and perhaps the entire year was snapped at Chase Field on Monday.
Without any further ado, we present to you Hall of Fame baseball manager and current Chief Baseball Officer for the Arizona Diamondbacks Tony La Russa, along with his new friend, Grumpy Cat.

That's a real photo, folks. No doctoring. No photoshopping. It's real. It happened, and now it will be documented as a landmark photo in the of the era of the selfie.
Future generations will view the picture and they will exhaust resources to examine its meaning, always coming to the conclusion that our society peaked on the date of Sept. 6, 2015.
They'll also notice that La Russa's 'Grumpy Cat face' looks more like a duck face, which at that point in history will hopefully be outlawed or at least frowned upon, for the lack of a better term.
The classic picture was made possible by the Diamondbacks, who actually held a Grumpy Cat promotion on Monday. That included the Grumpster herself throwing out the first pitch.

Always happy to be seen, is Grumpy Cat.
Here are more scenes from her visit to the ballpark.
