Helmet-to-helmet or not? Ruling was he wasn't defenseless, so no targeting.

Kiel appeared to be knocked out after Lanier lowered his head/shoulder and struck Kiel as he was attempting to slide. Kiel’s head smacked against the turf. Officials ruled that the hit was with the shoulder and Lanier was not assessed a targeting penalty.
Kiel was on the turf for several minutes as medical staff from both the Cincinnati and Memphis sidelines attended to him. He was loaded on the cart and taken to the locker room. ESPN reported Kiel was moving his toes and blinking his eyes as he was being wheeled off.
Kiel had to exit last week’s game early after suffering a concussion following a neck injury.
