1978 - Manny Pacquiao, Filipino boxer is born.
1988 - Bryan Murray becomes 17th NHL coach to win 300 games (Wash. Capitals).

2003 - Otto Graham, NFL Quarterback, dies of a heart aneurysm at 82.

2009 - Chris Henry, Cincinnati Bengals football player (b. 1983) died of blunt
force trauma to the head after he fell out of the back of a moving truck driven
by his fiancee and friend while they were engaged in a domestic dispute.
