Aaron Hernandez settles with friend he allegedly shot in the face

Aaron Hernandez (AP)Aaron Hernandez had so many legal issues, it's hard to keep them all straight.
Hernandez, the former New England Patriots tight end who was convicted of murdering Odin Lloyd in 2013, was accused of shooting Alexander Bradley in the face after they left a Miami strip club in 2013. A lawsuit against Hernandez by Bradley has been settled, the Hartford Courant reported. Terms were not disclosed.
Bradley is a key figure in Hernandez's other murder trial. Hernandez has been charged with a double murder in Boston in 2012. He's accused of killing Daniel Jorge Correia de Abreu and Safiro Teixeira Furtado in a drive-by shooting after leaving a nightclub.
Bradley, the Hartford Courant said, was a passenger in Hernandez's vehicle the night de Abreu and Furtado were shot according to prosecutors. The Courant said that Bradley mentioned the Boston "stuff" to Hernandez, who shot him and left him to die. Bradley lost his right eye but survived. Bradley testified at Hernandez's trial for Lloyd's murder.
The Courant said that Bradley didn't identify Hernandez to police after the shooting but later filed a civil lawsuit against the former tight end. Hernandez was charged with witness intimidation in the Bradley shooting and has pleaded not guilty, the Courant reported.
The Courant said Bradley was arrested in an unrelated 2014 shooting at a Hartford bar, is awaiting trial on several charges including criminal use of a firearm, and is in jail in Connecticut. Hernandez serving a life sentence for Lloyd's murder. His trial for the double murder in Boston was delayed by a judge last month. Hernandez has pleaded not guilty in that case.
