Johnny Manziel will get his third career NFL start on Sunday

Josh McCown wasn't cleared for action this week, which (sorry Josh) makes the Cleveland Browns' Week 2 game more interesting.
The Browns will turn to quarterback Johnny Manziel to make his third career start. Two of the NFL's most interesting quarterbacks and two of the last three Heisman Trophy winners, Manziel and Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota, will square off. The two players were almost teammates at Oregon.
The focus will be on both quarterbacks, for much different reasons. Mariota is coming off an incredible debut, in which he became the first rookie quarterback in NFL history to post a perfect rating in his debut. Manziel hasn't had that kind of NFL success yet. His two starts last year were bad. He got a chance to come in for McCown last week after McCown was knocked out of the game. Manziel threw a 54-yard touchdown shortly after he got in, but the New York Jets clamped down on him afterward. He went 13-of-24 for 182 yards, one touchdown, one interception and lost two fumbles.
Manziel, a first-round pick last year, will have a chance to have a better outing against a banged-up Titans secondary in a home game. It's a big chance for him to earn some confidence from the franchise moving forward. If he plays really well, maybe he'll take over the job for good. Either way, that game became a lot more interesting.
