Woods managed to make par on the hole, but grabbed the ball out of the cup and tipped his cap with his left hand. As he made his way toward the 10th tee, a fan reached out for a fist bump, which Woods reciprocated with his off hand.
Woods winced again after hitting his tee shot on No. 10 – his first swing after the shot on 9. He wound up bogeying the 10th to move him back to 4-under in the Masters.
It's not clear to what, if any, extent Woods may have injured the wrist. He did continue on and appeared to shake off the pain. In fact, he eagled No. 13 to move to 6-under.
Afterwards, he had a quite graphic explanation about what happened: "A bone kind of popped out and joint kind of went out of place, but I put it back in."
Uhh, really? That's exactly what CBS's Bill Macatee asked.
"Really?"
"Yeah," Tiger said non-chalantly.
Regardless, Woods certainly doesn't need to deal with any other setbacks. From a bad back, to an injured knee to a strained Achilles', Woods has battled injuries for much of the past few years. Prior to this week's Masters, he hadn't played a competitive round since February as he tried to rehab an ailing back.
We'll provide updates after Woods finishes his round.
