1958 - Dodgers officially become the Los Angeles Dodgers, Inc.
1959 - Dorothy Rigney sells the White Sox to Bill Veeck for a reported $27M.
1965 - Cassius Clay becomes a Muslim & adopts the name Muhammad Ali.
1975 - NBA New Orleans Jazz end a 28 game road losing streak.
