Third-coldest game in NFL history, Vikings' Bud Grant doesn't care

Of course the Minnesota Vikings brought out coaching legend Bud Grant before their painfully cold playoff game Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. And of course he came out in short sleeves. It was minus-6 degrees at kickoff, with a wild chill of minus-25.
Seriously, what a legend.

The cold is nothing for legendary head coach Bud Grant.

Grant is 88. It's amazing a man his age is even at the stadium, much less strolling across the ice pond of a field in a polo shirt. When's your tee time, coach?
He led the Vikings to 158 regular-season victories and 10 more in the postseason (including four unsuccessful trips to the Super Bowl) with the franchise between 1967 and 1985, and the majority of the games in Minnesota came in outdoor Metropolitan Stadium. Often, temperatures dropped well below freezing the later it got in the season.
Sunday's game was ruled the coldest in franchise history and the third-coldest in league history behind the famous "Ice Bowl" on New Year's Eve, 1967 and the "Freezer Bowl" in 1982 between the San Diego Chargers and Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC championship game.

You almost get the idea Grant was a bit upset he wasn't coaching in this one. So he showed everyone just how much the weather bothered him: not a dang bit, apparently.
