Steelers believe Ben Roethlisberger has sprained AC joint

The Pittsburgh Steelers believe quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder, report Albert Breer and Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
Roethlisberger will undergo an MRI Sunday, according to the report. The quarterback was injured during Saturday’s wild-card game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Roethlisberger was carted off the field before returning to lead Pittsburgh’s game-winning drive.
The report did not state if Roethlisberger would be ready for the Steelers’ next playoff game against the Denver Broncos. Roethlisberger told reporters he is day-to-day.
Roethlisberger, a first-round draft pick in 2004, completed 68% of his passes with 21 touchdowns and 16 interceptions during the regular season.
