NFL bound: Stanford's Austin Hooper, Oregon's Bralon Addison declare

Two All-Pac-12 team selections – Stanford tight end Austin Hooper and Oregon wide receiver Bralon Addison – are headed to the NFL.
Hooper, a redshirt sophomore, announced the news two days after Stanford trounced Iowa in the Rose Bowl. A first team All-Pac-12 choice, Hooper finished with 34 catches for 438 yards and six touchdowns this season and also had 40 catches for 499 yards and two scores as a redshirt freshman in 2014.

The 6-foot-4, 248-pound Hooper is the second tight end to declare for the draft on Monday. Arkansas junior Hunter Henry also decided to leave school early.
Addison, a redshirt junior, was a second team all-league pick after hauling in a team-best 63 passes for 804 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season.

“I came here as a kid who wanted nothing more than to play football at a high level,” Addison said in a statement. “In the process, so much more has happened. I think I have become more mature, a better person and a better Christian and most importantly a better man. I just wanted nothing more than to thank everyone that has been a positive influence in my life academically and athletically during my time here at Oregon: my professors, this entire staff, the fans and everyone else involved.
“With that being said, today I am happy to announce that I will be foregoing my senior year to enter the 2016 NFL Draft. This is a decision I have prayed about and I feel as though God has given me the understanding, confidence and assurance to move forward. I thank you all very much! Go Ducks!”
Addison, who also has three career punt return touchdowns, missed the 2014 season due to a knee injury.
“We’re appreciative of Bralon’s contributions and commitment over the last four years, and wish him continued success at the next level,” UO coach Mark Helfrich said.
