The concern with joint training camp practices is that tempers can flare and you're more likely to fight someone on another team than your teammate.
Well, the Houston Texans and Washington Redskins pushed that concern to the extreme with a sideline-clearing brawl that seemed to include everyone from both organizations.
There were actually multiple fights during the joint practices, according to reporters there. John McClain of the Houston Chronicle said the teams had to stop practicing together, and separated onto different fields for practice because of the fights.
This one actually looked like what a benches-clearing baseball brawl would be if baseball players really wanted to fight:
Even Washington's official team Twitter feed couldn't ignore it.
That's a legitimate donnybrook, or brouhaha. Afterward most of the comments seemed to brush off what happened, with the old "tempers flared, no big deal" bit. It should at least make for an interesting episode of the Texans' "Hard Knocks" series.
