1914 - Sammy Baugh, Texas, NFL Hall of Fame QB (Washington Redskins) is born.
1957 - Robin Cousins, England, figure skater (Olympic-gold-1980) is born.
1963 - Bob Cousy plays his last NBA game.
1988 - Highest scoring NCAA basketball game; Loyola-Marymont 119, Wyoming 115.
