According to multiple reports, Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Johnny Manziel is taking classes at A&M this semester.
Manziel, who dazzled during two seasons as A&M’s starter before declaring early for the NFL Draft, is not back in College Station, however. He’s reportedly taking classes online.
Johnny Manziel is taking online courses at Texas A&M and will still live in Los Angeles, according to someone who would know: @billyliucci— Brent Zwerneman (@BrentZwerneman) September 5, 2016
Manziel left A&M for the NFL after his redshirt sophomore season before he was able to finish his degree. He flamed out after two seasons with the Cleveland Browns, who selected him the first round of the 2014 draft, and is apparently looking to graduate.

He is listed in A&M’s student directory as a senior studying recreation, parks and tourism sciences.
Manziel appeared in 14 games for the Browns, including eight starts. Overall, he threw for 1,675 yards, seven touchdowns and seven interceptions while completing 57 percent of his passes. He also has had well-documented off-the-field issues, including a domestic violence case and reported substance abuse issues.
The Browns released Manziel in March. He is currently a free agent.
After redshirting in 2011, Manziel combined for 7,820 yards and 63 touchdowns passing and 2,169 yards and 30 touchdowns rushing in 2012 and 2013.
