TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin limped to the locker room at the beginning of the second quarter of his team's game against Kansas on Saturday. He likely won't return to the game, per coach Gary Patterson, reportedly with a high ankle sprain.

Boykin took a couple of awkward hits in the first quarter. His right ankle was taped before the game and it twisted underneath his body as he was tackled.
And he also got hit from behind after making a pass.
He was replaced by backup quarterback Bram Kohlhausen and returned to the sidelines midway through the second quarter.
Boykin was considered a top candidate for the Heisman Trophy until TCU lost to Oklahoma State in Week 10. The former part-time wide receiver has become one of the best quarterbacks in college football over the past two seasons as TCU's offense has racked up yardage. Boykin has thrown for 29 touchdowns and run for eight in 2015.
TCU, a 45-point favorite, entered halftime tied at 10-10 with Kansas and ended up winning 23-17.
