Aqib Talib investigated for assault, nightclub GM says he did nothing

Divisional Playoffs - Indianapolis Colts v Denver BroncosDenver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib is being investigated for a possible aggravated assault at a nightclub, WFAA in Dallas reported citing Dallas Police Department sources, but the club's general manager said Talib and his brother did nothing wrong.
A report by the Dallas Morning News said there was a disturbance in the nightclub between three males, and when an employee tried to break it up and escort the three men outside, one allegedly tried to punch the employee. The police told the Dallas Morning News that as the three were then escorted out, a club employee alleged “as they reached the front of the location someone produced a gun and pointed it at him.”
“Witnesses outside the location observed a Black male outside fire a round into the air, which caused an immediate panic,” police told the Morning News. “All of the involved individuals left the location.”
The Dallas Police Department said it was trying to identify the three men involved, and WFAA said Aqib Talib and his brother, Yaqub were being investigated. The Dallas Police Department did not identify either Talib in a statement, obtained by Fox Sports 1's Mike Garafolo, in which it said it was investigating the incident. Broncos spokesman Patrick Smyth told USA Today's Lindsay Jones: "We have been in touch with Aqib regarding these reports and will continue to monitor the situation."
Hanney Kamal, LUXX Nightclub's general manager,, told the Morning News that there was a verbal altercation, and everyone was asked to leave the club, which they did. He said no gun was fired.
“One-hundred percent that did not happen,” Kamal told the Morning News. “I was there. Somebody might have called the police because there was a yelling argument. It’s athletes — someone sees them yelling and dials 911. But there was nothing to that nature. Nothing happened. It’s just a typical nightclub. You’re always going to get people yelling.”
