Are you ready for actor Will Ferrell to take over Arizona's Cactus League on Thursday? We already told you about Ferrell's wacky plan to play every baseball position in a single day, in five different spring-training games. He'll travel by helicopter to one of them.
If you didn't already believe that spring baseball is all fun and meaningless stats, this pretty much proves it.
Ferrell's plight isn't all meaningless, though. It's a well-planned effort by MLB and HBO's "Funny Or Die" to create a new Ferrell special and raise money for cancer patients at the same time. All of the game-used memorabilia from Ferrell's Cactus League jaunt will be auctioned off and the money will go to Cancer for College.
Where will Ferrell be? A good question indeed. The full schedule is below. If you're not in Arizona and want to follow along with Ferrell's adventures, we've set up a live blog you can follow for that exact purpose.
• 3:05 p.m.: Seattle Mariners at Oakland Athletics (HoHoKam Stadium)
• 4:10 p.m.: Chicago Cubs at Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (Tempe Diablo Stadium)
• 5:10 p.m.: Cincinnati Reds at Arizona Diamondbacks (Salt River Fields at Talking Stick)
• 7:05 p.m.: San Francisco Giants at Chicago White Sox (Camelback Ranch)
• 9:15 p.m.: Los Angeles Dodgers at San Diego Padres (Peoria Stadium)
*all times Eastern.

You can catch both the Cubs/Angels game and the Dodgers/Padres game live on MLB Network.
In case you're wondering, yes, even MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred is on board with idea, saying:
“Spring Training affords an appropriate setting where our game can serve as the backdrop for an event that will benefit organizations that fight cancer. Will is a big fan of our game, and many of us in baseball – among our clubs, players and our millions of fans – are big fans of his. Major League Baseball is happy to take part in what will surely be a fun and memorable day for a great cause.”
So far we know that Ferrell will be playing shortstop for the A's, catcher for the Giants, third base for the Reds and he'll pitch for the Dodgers. He apparently has plans to umpire part of the Dodgers/Padres game.
You really don't want to miss our live blog. This sounds like it'll be hijinks galore.
