C.J. Spiller agrees to deal with Saints

NFL: Buffalo Bills at New England PatriotsFree-agent running back C.J. Spiller has agreed to terms on a four-year, $18 million contract with the New Orleans Saints, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
The deal guarantees Spiller $9 million, inlcuding a $5 million signing bonus, a source told Yahoo, and could void after three years if Spiller reaches certain performance benchmarks, which would allow him to hit the market again, just before his 30th birthday.
Spiller, 27, spent his first five seasons with the Buffalo Bills after being selected with the ninth pick overall in the 2010 NFL draft.
The Saints are hoping Spiller can add depth and return to his 2012 form, when he rushed for 1,244 yards and six touchdowns while averaging six yards per carry. He also had 459 yards and two touchdowns receiving.
New Orleans re-signed running back Mark Ingram, a former Heisman Trophy winner, on March 7.
