1933 - First game at NFL Pittsburgh Pirate's Forbes Field, lose to Brooklyn Dodgers 32-0.
1945 - Al Michaels, Brooklyn, sportscaster (ABC Monday Night Baseball/Football) is born.
1952 - White Sox place Jim Rivera on 1 year probation after cleared of rape.
1953 - US district Judge Grim, rules NFL can black out TV home games.
