1942 - Raymond Floyd, Fort Bragg, N. Carolina, PGA golfer (1986 US Open) is born.
1949 - Tom Watson, KC Mo, golfer (British Open 1975, 77, 80, 82, 83) is born.
1950 - Darlington Raceway is the site of the inaugural
