1919 - Casey Stengel releases a sparrow from under his baseball cap.
1919 - Lindsey Nelson, Pulaski Tn, sportscaster (NY Mets) is born.
1922 - Babe Ruth suspended 1 day & fined $200 for throwing dirt on an ump.
